Hello, and a big welcome to Sydney University Wind Orchestra!

It's shaping up to be an exciting 2005, our second year in business. Your lovable execs have been working hard over the break to create an awesome O-Week and orientation rehearsal, and we want to SEE YOU THERE!

Welcome newbies!

Over 70 people expressed their interest, and already over 30 new members have joined in 2005 - we love you all. It's going to be a great year, with two band competitions and two end-of-semester concerts in the line-up, and Pete, our social coordinator, is already planning our major annual social event (shh, secret!), as well as organising a fantastic...

Orientation Rehearsal!

That's right, come and meet everyone, play some music, and put Pete's bbq cooking skills to the test on Tuesday 8th March, at the Old Darlington School, from 4.30 to 6.30 pm.

In contradiction to what we told you at the O-Week booth, we have altered rehearsal venues and times (it's the same place we were in last year) due to an unexpected lucky break in negotiations with the music dept. If you're unsure how to get there, go to our website and there's a link to maps from the index page. Oh, and don't forget to bring your instrument! (If you play two instruments, and one is a trumpet or sax, please bring it - we're a tad short!)

New for 2005!

So come along to our Orientation Rehearsal:

Tue 8 March
4.30 - 6.30 pm
Old Darlington School

If you're not a member yet, you can join at the rehearsal (it's only $5, and you get a bbq for starters, along with innumerable other benefits...)

We hope to see you there, helping us make some NOISE!

The SUWO team.
